Which color profile do we use?

Printing is done in CMYK using the color profile ISO Coated V2 (ECI).

If your print data contains RGB, Pantone, HKS, RAL, or other spot colors, these will be automatically converted to CMYK. Please note that color deviations are unavoidable due to this conversion.

You can download the ICC profiles from the European Color Initiative (ECI) on their website at https://www.eci.org/de/downloads#icc-profile_der_eci. Simply click to download the file “eci_offset_2009.zip”.

To install on Windows, right-click the desired profile and select “Install”. On a Mac, copy the required profiles into the Library/ColorSync/Profiles/Recommended folder. The profiles will then be available in all your programs.
