Which color profile do we use?

Printing is done in CMYK with the ISO Coated V2 (ECI) color profile.

If the print data contains RGB, Pantone, HKS, RAL or other special colors, these are automatically converted to CMYK. Color deviations due to the conversion are unavoidable.

You can download the ICC profiles of the European Color Initiative (ECI) from their website at https://www.eci.org/en/downloads#icc-profile_der_eci. Simply download the file "eci_offset_2009.zip" by clicking on it.

To install under Windows, right-click on the desired profile and select "Install". On a Mac, copy the required profiles to the Library/ColorSync/Profiles/Recommended folder. The profiles are then available in all programs used.
